President and Chief Executive Officer

Rob has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since December 2009 and as a Director on the Board since February 2010. Rob's experience in the oil and gas industry includes leadership roles in general management, operations, marketing and strategic planning for companies that include ExxonMobil, Transocean, Nabors Industries and McKinsey & Company. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Rob is on the Board of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, a member of the Spindletop Charities Advisory Board, and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).

Mark Mey, Senior Vice President and Secretary

Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and financial services industries in the United States and South Africa. He was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Director of Scorpion Offshore Ltd. Prior to joining Scorpion, Mark held positions of increasing responsibility with Noble Corporation over 12 years including Vice President and Treasurer. Mark is responsible for the financial function, investor relations and global supply chain at Atwood. Mark earned an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He is a Chartered Accountant and attended the Harvard Business School Executive MBA Advanced Management Program. In addition, Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Boys and Girls Country, a not-for-profit charitable organization assisting families in conflict.

Mac Polhamus, Vice President Operations

Mac joined Atwood Oceanics in February 2011 as Vice President, Operations. In this capacity, he is principal operating officer of Atwood responsible for the overall direction and oversight of worldwide rig operations. He comes to Atwood after nearly 16 years at Transocean in positions of increasing general management and operations responsibility involving both deepwater and shallow water drilling rigs. Prior Mac was a consultant for Sonat Drilling Services, Inc., Triton International and Petroleum Engineers, Inc., and also held various positions with Amoco International Oil Company where he started his career. A graduate of Tulsa University, he holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Drew Baker, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Drew joined Atwood Oceanics in February 2011 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of all legal matters related to Atwood. Prior to joining Atwood, Drew served as Vice President, General Counsel of Frontier Drilling. In addition, he worked for approximately 15 years with the offshore drilling company Transocean Ltd. and its predecessor companies, GlobalSantaFe Corporation and Global Marine Inc., in various legal and corporate roles. Drew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and his JD degree from The University of Texas School of Law.

Mike Campbell, Vice President, Controller

Mike joined Atwood Oceanics in March 2001 and served as Controller and subsequently as General Manager - Financial Services from late 2001 through 2008 before being promoted to his current position in January 2009. Working with Mark Mey, Mike is responsible for overseeing all accounting, tax and financial reporting matters for Atwood. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1991, he worked four years in public accounting at Ernst & Young primarily in the oilfield service industry. Mike then spent six years as an Assistant Controller at a manufacturing company and subsequently at a privately held investment company before joining Atwood.

Luis Jimenez,  Vice President, Human Resources

Luis has more than 20 years of experience in the development and execution of human resources policies and programs. He joined Atwood in March 2007. Luis is responsible for compensation and benefits, change management, leadership succession and international activities. He has served in key roles for leading global companies including Director, Compensation & Benefits at The Shaw Group Inc., Director Global Compensation and Benefits for Halliburton Company and Director International Human Resources for Smith International, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and a Master of Science in Social Sciences, both from Texas A&M University.

Barry Smith, Vice President, Technical Services

Barry joined Atwood Oceanics in April 2006. He has overall responsibility for Maintenance, Engineering and Atwood's new build projects. He started his career with Diamond M Offshore and then went to Culver Drilling Co. as Maintenance Superintendent. Barry joined Sonat Offshore which is now Transocean where he worked for more than twenty years. In his roles he was responsible for the implementation of the worldwide maintenance system for over eighty-five drilling vessels. Barry has held a Unlimited MODU Chief Engineers License and was an approved DNV and Lloyds Surveyor for the selected rigs.

Mark Smith , President, Corporate Services

Mark has over nineteen years of experience in the auditing, consulting and energy industries in the United States and Europe. He joined Atwood Oceanics to lead the Internal Audit Department in 2009. Today Mark's responsibilities include Information Technology, Internal Audit, Administrative Services (including Facilities), and Special Projects. Prior to Atwood, Mark was a partner at Calvetti, Ferguson & Wagner, a full-service accounting firm. Other experience includes PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen, leading attestations for public audit clients, as well as Gunn Partners Consulting, where he focused on improving the value of administrative functions. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and earned both his BBA and MBA from Baylor University. He serves on the Board of Child Advocates.

Geoff Wagner, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Geoff Wagner has served as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development since October 2012, prior to which he served as Director, Marketing and Business Development. He joined Atwood Oceanics in March 2010. In January 2013, Mr. Wagner's responsibilities include worldwide leadership of Atwood's marketing and business development activities and organization. Prior to joining Atwood, Mr. Wagner held various positions in corporate planning, marketing and operations management at Transocean, Ltd. and was also employed by an affiliate of ExxonMobil. Mr. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a MBA from Rice University.
