The Human Resources team supports Atwood’s ongoing recruitment and retention initiatives. We are dedicated to full service delivery in the Employment area, as well as in the administration of policies and programs in Employee Development, Compensation and Benefits, SHE&S (Safety, Health, Environment and Security) and Employee Relations. Employee Development provides guidance and resources relative to all mandatory and voluntary training of all employees. The SHE&S team works with our Operations management and with all employees to coordinate the Company’s strategic goal of maintaining the safest work environment possible.

The Company's total rewards program is intended to be competitive with the offerings of other firms in the offshore drilling industry and sensitive to the conditions and regulations in each of the countries and locations where we operate.

Benefits
The Company offers a wide range of benefit plans to assist employees and their families with decisions regarding the security they need and deserve. Among the benefits offered to USA-based employees are:

401(k) Retirement Plan
• Atwood's 401(k) plan is among the best in the industry.
• You can start making pre-tax contributions through payroll deduction on the first day of the month following your employment. Rollover contributions from other plans are allowed.
• The Company matches each dollar you save on a 2 for 1 basis, up to 5% of your salary.
• You can make additional contributions subject to IRS limits.
• You are vested immediately on your own contributions. Atwood’s contributions will vest in 3 years from the date you join the plan.
• Your investment fund options are among the best available: they are reviewed on an ongoing basis and updated as required, in line with best practices.


Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
• This benefit is 100% paid by Company.
• The coverage is equal to two times annual salary to a maximum of $250,000 and it includes coverage for spouse and children

Disability Insurance
• This benefit is 100% paid by Company.


Optional Voluntary Accidental Insurance
• You have the option to elect additional coverage up to a maximum of $500,000 or 10 times annual pay.
• Insurance plans are administered by CIGNA.


Medical and Prescription Drug Insurance

• Atwood’s medical plan provides comprehensive and affordable coverage in medical care, hospitalization, outpatient, emergency and additional health care services.
• A PPO managed health care network with United Health Care. Coverage includes two options: In Network and Out of Network.
• The prescription drug plan is administered by MEDCO.
• Competitive benefits are also provided to employees residing outside of the USA.


Dental Insurance
• Atwood offers Dental Plan coverage through CIGNA.


Vision Care Plan
• Participation in the plan is voluntary and administered by Spectera, a leading provider of vision care services.
• New hires are eligible to join our benefit plans on the first day of the month following the date of employment.

Flexible Spending
• Health and Dependent care FSA is available.


Holidays, Personal Leave and Vacation
Standard statutory holidays are observed in each country where we operate.
Vacation days are determined by the number of years of continuous service and accrued monthly according to the following schedule:
Years of service Vacation Days
1- 5 years 10 days
5-10 years 15 days
10-15 years 20 days
15 years or more 25 days
*Sick Leave and Other Leaves are provided to employees.


Recognition and Reward Programs

• Rig crew employees are eligible for seniority bonus pay of 5% of base salary following 2 continuous years of service
• The seniority bonus is increased to 10% after four years of continuous service
